Murray has held a variety of non-executive positions with the Queensland Branch of the Liberal Party of Australia, both as a member of the Finance Committee and the Queensland State Executive.
He founded Retail Food Group Australia and was instrumental in the growth of that company's brands Donut King and BB's Coffee to in excess of 300 stores in Australia and in 9 other countries. He has also been involved in the restaurant, wholesaling, farming and liquor industries.

John Purnell
John Purnell operates his own Consultancy in the areas of Sport, Entertainment and Themepark/Attractions. He specializes in Strategic and Business Planning. Formerly from Melbourne, John moved to the Gold Coast over 5 years ago. John was Director of Business Development for Entertainment conglomerate, Village Roadshow Ltd, from 95-2001 ,including postings in Sydney, Singapore and Melbourne. He was Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from 1983-1995.He also holds several corporate Board positions .

Gary Stimpson
Currently Owner Manager of the Bank of Queensland Franchise at Nerang for the past 3 years.
Gary was President of the Bond Rugby Club for 4 years and Chairman of the Gold Coast junior committee for past 3 years.
He has played for Bond Rugby Club, Bowen and Ross River in North Queensland, Warrigals in Mount Isa and Rangers in Toowoomba.

Phillip Verheijen
Currently working as a Senior Business Banker at the NAB and undertaking a Masters of Business Administration at Griffith University, Gold Coast.
Completed Bachelor of Business at Griffith University in 2003.

Whilst at University Phillip started the Griffith University Gold Coast Rugby Club. Is also Vice President of the Australian Universities Rugby Union.
In 2005 took a position on the Gold Coast and Districts Rugby Union Board.
Has also been on the Colleges Rugby Club committee since he was 19 years old. Phillip coached juniors at Colleges from 1998 to 2003. In 1999 and 2000 Philip worked with the GCDJRU Committee to help develop and grow junior rugby on the Gold Coast.

John Potter
John is an enthusiastic Rugby supporter.
A qualified Rugby coach and brings with him extensive business and commercial experience particularly in the property development field.
John has served as a director of Villa World Ltd. for the last seven years, has been appointed to the board of M.F.S. Diversified Trust Ltd. and has held numerous other public company board positions.

Ian Shapland
Ian spent his formative years in the UK with a background in the building and manufacturing industries, and moved to Brisbane in 1991. Over the past 20 years, Ian has held Territory, National and Australasian roles in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Business & Strategic Development and Trade Relations within the Pharmaceutical and Health related industries.

Ian Played Under 19 and Under 21 rugby for both Devon and South West England in the mid eighties. Came to Australia in '91 and has been involved in junior rugby for 14 years including 3 years as a club president, 7 years coaching. He has held the position as Southern Chairman of the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union for 2005/6.
