Player Registration

All participants (Players, Coaches, Officials, Volunteers, etc) must be registered with the ARU in order to obtain coverage under the ARU National Insurance Scheme. A signed ARU membership form and registration on MyRugbyAdmin is a necessity to ensure coverage.

The following is an outline of the essential requirements of the ARU registration:

  1. A player or parent/guardian (if under 18 years of age) must complete and sign an ARU membership form prior to participation in Rugby, including before playing any match, trials or training.
  2. Coaches, referees, team management and club officials etc must complete and sign an ARU membership form annually on acceptance of a position or appointment.
  3. The information on the ARU membership form must be entered into the MyRugbyAdmin database by the elected club registrar.
  4. No player should be entered or renewed on MyRugbyAdmin unless they have signed a current ARU membership form. A player who is not registered on an official ARU membership form is not insured.
